Junk Fortune – Koh Samui / Koh Pha Ngan
During the week,
from Monday to Friday, the "Fortune" Junk runs regular day or
sunset cruises to destination around Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and to the
beautiful Ang Thong National Marine Park. During the week-ends, the "Fortune" Junk is available for chartered cruises.

Sunset cruises: Monday & Thursday (yellow itinerary)
The now famous Sunset Cruise is a thrilling popular cruise: Starting
by the end of the afternoon, the junk sails to Koh Som, where you'll be
able to swim and enjoy the sunset over Samui island.
17:00 Pick up from your Hotel to Bophut pier.
Welcome on board
the Chinese junk style vessel “Fortune”.
17:30 The junk starts and sails northwards to Koh Som,
a forsaken island between Koh Samui & Koh Phangan. Get your "Sunset" cocktail during the cruise
and enjoy the music, the views of the coast and of scenic islands and
beaches.
The junk boat will reach Koh Som, a now uninhabited island
hosting birds and wild fauna, and known for its beautiful beach and creek
where the junk will anchor for a while.
Feel free at any time to get a swim and appreciate the
warm water of the Siam Gulf or socialize and chat on the huge decks.
It’s then time to watch the sunset and relax on the deck
while enjoying our large selection of different appetizers, finger food
and Tapas. A broad choice of long drinks, wines and cocktails are on offer
at the onboard cash Bar.
Then it will be time to enjoy the way back to Koh Samui.
20:30 Get back to the pier and transfer to your Hotel.
Full day cruise around Samui: Wednesday (green itinerary)
Discover Koh Samui and its surrounding islands from a new perspective
during this full day cruise. Enjoy the views of secluded little bays and
beaches that decorate the island.
8:30 Pick up from your Hotel to Bophut pier.
Welcome on board the Chinese junk style vessel “Fortune”.
9:00 Boat starts and sails southwards of Koh Samui.
We will pass Koh Som, Choen Moon beach, Chaweng beach,
Koh Matlang, Lamai beach, Hua Thanon, Bang Kao and finally reach the islands
of Koh Taen and Koh Mat Sum.
Get breakfast on the way and enjoy,
all along the cruise, the view of the most famous beaches of the coasts,
a couple of original different small islands and the beautiful scenery
of Koh Samui.
Stop on one of the best snorkeling areas between Koh Taen
and Koh Mat Sum; discover the underwater realm and swim through brilliant
soft coral and multicolored fishes. A guide will provide help and information
for beginners.
Around noon the chief cook will prepare lunch.
There are 4 different Thai dishes on offer: Massaman chicken, pork green
curry, fish garlic and pepper, shrimps sweet and sour. A selection of
desserts and fruits is included.
After lunch a couple of nautical activities are available
and you can go ashore to visit the local curiosities with our outboard
boat.
Swim in the 30 degrees sea of the Siam Gulf or just take
in the sun on our huge sun decks.
All day long, “fishermen” can enjoy their favorite sport
either using a rod or trolling on the way, (fishing equipment provided).
On the way back, after a refreshing shower, you will appreciate
our selection of tea, pastries and fruit salad. A broad
choice of long drinks, wines and cocktails are on offer at the onboard
cash Bar.
17:00 back to the pier and transfer to your Hotel.
Full day cruise to Koh Pha Ngan
& surroundings: Tuesday (purple itinerary)
Discover Koh Pha Ngan, Koh Ma and its surroundings. The beauty and
wild aspect of Koh Pha Ngan is well sought after by nature lovers. Discover
new views of the beautiful beaches and secluded bays of Koh Pha Ngan.
08:30 Pick up from your Hotel to Bophut pier.

9:00 Boat starts and sails to Koh Ma, Koh Tainok, Chaloklum,
Tong Nay Pan or Haadrin the most beautiful surrounding islands and beaches
of Koh Phangan.
Get breakfast on the way and enjoy, all along the cruise,
the view of the most famous beaches of the coasts, a couple of original
different islets, and the lush natural scenery of Koh Phangan.
Stop on one of the best snorkeling areas of Koh Phangan;
discover the underwater realm and swim through brilliant soft coral and

Full day Cruise to Ang Thong Marine
Park: Friday (blue itinerary)
The junk cruises
to the northernmost point of the Ang Thong National Marine Park. The snorkeling
and shallow water there, as well as the striking topside scenery, make
for an enjoyable outing.
7:30 Pick up from your Hotel to Bophut pier.
Welcome on board the Chinese junk style vessel “Fortune”.
8:00 Boat starts and sails to Koh Wao, Koh Yippon yai and Koh Yippon
lek, 3 wonderful islands located at the northernmost point of the Ang
Thong National Marine Park.
Get breakfast during the crossing and enjoy, all along the cruise, a couple
of scenic islets, beautiful pristine beaches and the stunning vertical
rock formations.
First stop is Koh Wao, one of the best snorkeling spot of
the Chinese sea, where you will discover the marvelous underwater realm.
This location has a mix of hard and soft corals, with star and table stag
horn corals. Observe also thousands of reef fishes like fusiliers, yellow
tails, angel fishes, butterfly fishes, snappers, gropers, cods, moray
eels, etc... A guide will provide help and information for beginners.
Around noon the chief cook will prepare lunch. There are 4 different Thai
dishes on offer: Massaman chicken, pork green curry, fish garlic and pepper,
shrimps sweet and sour. A selection of desserts and fruits is included.
After lunch we cruise to Koh Yippon yai and Koh Yippon lek, the 2 northernmost
islands of the Marine Park where we will swim through brilliant soft coral
and multicolored fishes.
All day long, “fishermen” can enjoy their favorite sport
either using a rod or trolling on the way, (fishing equipment provided).
On the way back, after a refreshing shower, you will appreciate
our selection of tea, pastries and fruit salad. A broad choice of long
drinks, wines and cocktails are on offer at the onboard cash Bar.
19:30 Back to the pier and transfer to your Hotel.
Full Moon Party Cruise: Next Full Moon parties on the 5th of November and 6th
of December
Monthly overnight Full Moon Party
cruises to Haad Rin Yai, Koh Phangan.
Starting from Bophut,
Koh Samui,
the Full Moon Party starts on board, while cruising to Haad Rin Yai, Koh
Phangan.
The junk will
anchor in the Haad Rin Yai bay, where you'll be amazed by the sound systems
on duty and the myriad of lights effects staring from Haad Rin Yai beach.
The cruise includes
outboard boat transfers to Haad Rin beach, where you'll be dropped
straight in the party scene!
Buffet on the
way to the Full Moon Party, and, the next morning, onboard breakfast are
included in this cruise.
The "Fortune"
Junk will cruise back to Koh Samui by the beginning of the next day, and
be back by 9:00 AM.
The “Fortune” Junk
Initially built in 2004
in Ranong, west coast of Thailand, the "Fortune" Junk made its
way, via Singapore, to the Gulf of Thailand.
The "Fortune"
Junk is now based at the pier of the Fishermen's
Village of Bophut, north of Koh Samui.
The "Fortune"
Junk is a 24 meters length and 8 meters width traditional Junk boat entirely
built with teakwood.
The old type
of sail with bamboo supports gives this very particular look.
The main Sun deck is 44m˛ of teck
wood for Sun bathing, relaxing and enjoying your cruise.
The four double
cabins
with A/C, attached bathroom and hot water allow the junk to easily accommodate
for 8 to 10 guests during more than one week and cruise for up to 2500 nautical
miles.
