Founded by Jean-François Fountaine and Yves Pajot in 1976, Fountaine Pajot started building cruising catamarans in 1983. The company now offers a complete, up-to-date range of sailing catamarans (Mahe 36, Lipari 41, Orana 44, Salina 48, Eleuthera 60 and Galathea 65) and motor catamarans (Highland 35 PILOT, Summerland 40, Cumberland 46 and soon Queensland 55) using advanced technology, generating sustained profits through its international activities.
